Henry Ford always said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you're right." This can also be said for those who do not believe all accidents can be avoided. One thing most people do believe is that accidents can be reduced. Having a loved one crippled or killed in an accident is a traumatic experience. Following the laws and rules of the road is a good start but it is often not enough to prevent every accident. If everyone did follow the rules of the road, it is estimated that accidents and deaths could be cut in half.
